Summary: Latitude vs. Temperature

This is one that as a correlation!

As you can see in the chart, there is a correlation between the temperature of a city and it's proximity to the equator. Actually, no, the true correlation currently is between the temperature of the city and it's proximity to 20 degrees North. Why is there instead? The data was pulled on July 25, 2020, which is right in the middle of summer for Northern Hemisphere. Here are some of locales that are on the 20th parallel North:

• The Sahara Desert
• Saudi Arabia
• India
• Vietnam
• Mexico
• The Carribbean

My hypothesis is that if we were to pull this information in January vs July, we would see more of that direct correlation towards the equator.
